As a technology facilitator connecting shippers and hauliers, HaulageHub recognises the importance of maintaining neutrality and avoiding any conflict of interest between platform participants.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, partners, and systems operated by HaulageHub Technologies Ltd, including the HaulageHub platform and its associated services such as the RHA Exchange.
3. Our Role
HaulageHub acts solely as a digital intermediary and technology provider.
We do not:
- Own or operate any vehicles.
- Employ or sub-contract drivers.
- Handle, transport, or store goods.
- Enter into or control transport contracts between shippers and hauliers.
All contractual and operational responsibility rests directly between the shipper (customer) and the haulier (supplier). HaulageHub’s involvement is limited to facilitating digital connections, enabling self-billing and payments for administrative efficiency, and providing data-driven tools to optimise logistics operations.
4. Impartiality Principles
HaulageHub is committed to maintaining impartiality through the following core principles:
- Neutral facilitation – providing a fair and unbiased platform where all verified hauliers and shippers can interact on equal terms.
- Transparency – ensuring that all processes, rates, and data sharing are clear and not influenced by preferential treatment or external interests.
- Equal opportunity – avoiding discrimination, favouritism, or conflicts of interest in the allocation, promotion, or visibility of loads and opportunities.
- Data integrity – maintaining the confidentiality and neutrality of all user data, ensuring that insights and analytics are not used to disadvantage or unfairly benefit any party.
5. Conflict of Interest
HaulageHub employees and representatives must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could compromise impartiality. No individual or entity associated with HaulageHub shall:
- Engage in any transport activity on the platform for personal or competitive gain.
- Influence platform algorithms or decisions for the benefit of a particular haulier or shipper.
- Use confidential data obtained through HaulageHub for commercial advantage outside of authorised use.
6. Governance & Monitoring
HaulageHub maintains internal procedures to regularly review and ensure compliance with impartiality principles, including:
- Auditing platform behaviour and matching algorithms.
- Reviewing partner relationships and affiliations.
- Providing a formal process for reporting and investigating impartiality concerns.
