At HaulageHub, we are steadfast in our commitment to the environment. We achieve this by promoting efficiency and reducing waste in the UK road haulage industry. By aiding hauliers to optimize their operations geographically and operationally, we significantly cut down on unproductive mileage, leading to substantial reductions in carbon emissions.

Virtually every product we consume has been transported by a truck at some stage before it reaches us. This transportation process inevitably generates CO2 emissions, which are further exacerbated by the inefficiencies in the industry – around 30% of all truck mileage is run empty. It's not just the industry that bears the cost of these inefficiencies; our environment pays a hefty price too. HaulageHub aims to rectify this issue, ensuring that the footprint of the haulage industry on our planet is not a heavy one.

WWF

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is an international non-governmental organization, working on issues regarding the conservation, research and restoration of the environment.

HaulageHub shares very similar values to WWF as we look to tackle the problem of unnecessary CO2 emissions in the UK caused by empty heavy goods vehicles.

Taking care of the environment is incredibly important to us, the reason for our existance and consequently we donate at least 5% of our annual profits to WWF-UK in an attempt to further the wonderful work they achieve in conserving our planet.

HaulageHub aim to be a major contributor to this cause and make a big impact as to how haulage transportation in the UK is managed and achieved, whilst holding the protection of the environment as our core focus.

Forestry England

For over 100 years, Forestry England have been growing, shaping and caring for over 1,500 of our nation’s forests for the benefit and enjoyment of all, for this generation and the next.

We're supporting Forestry England by enabling prospective shippers and hauliers to donate an additional £1 per load completed on the platform, resulting in the difference being donationated to Forestry England in order to replenish trees with the aim of offset the resulting CO2 emissions from the load being complete.

We're also schedulding regular tree planting sessions where each member of our team plants a tree in a further bid to reduce CO2 in out countries environment.
