Empty miles.
A shared industry problem.
A vehicle running empty still costs money, uses fuel and takes up space on the road. But it isn’t moving freight.
At the same time, freight needs moving and businesses are looking for the right transport partners. Too often, the available work and the available capacity simply aren’t connected.
That disconnect is why HaulageHub was created. We wanted to help the industry make more of the capacity it already has, reduce avoidable empty running and spend less time coordinating work across fragmented processes.
Our aim isn’t just to move more freight. It’s to help shippers, hauliers and transport operators work together as efficiently as possible — supporting a healthier, more profitable industry for everyone involved.

Our role is to connect the industry, not compete with the businesses in it. We don’t own or operate vehicles, and we don’t move or store goods. We provide the technology that helps people work together.

The company launches in October. Early users help shape the marketplace and the way freight and transport partners connect.

A nationwide rollout brings more shippers and hauliers into the network, opening up new connections and opportunities across the UK.
Beyond the marketplace
Control tower and enterprise subcontracting capabilities broaden the platform’s role, connecting the day-to-day transport operation as well as freight and capacity.
A wider operation
The network expands across lanes and sectors, while operational workflows and automation continue to develop around the needs of its users.
Industry relationships deepen
Relationships with the RHA and FORS mark another step in the journey, alongside a network of more than 5,000 shippers and hauliers.
